Bitcoin and major cryptocurrencies moved lower as selling pressure returned across large-cap assets, while smaller tokens recorded stronger gains. Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 1.9% to $63,992.70, slipping below $64,000 as trading volume reached $20.69 billion. Its market capitalization stood at $1.28 trillion, maintaining its dominant position across the cryptocurrency market.

XRP recorded $1.07 billion in trading volume, while its market capitalization remained around $62.73 billion.

BNB (BNB) also slipped 0.8% to $601.49, accompanied by $540.64 million in trading volume. Additionally, Solana (SOL) lost 1.4% and traded at $75.60, while its market capitalization reached $44.04 billion. However, major cryptocurrencies avoided the broader decline and posted modest gains.

TRON (TRX) increased 0.4% to $0.3319, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) climbed 1.5% to $55.01 and Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 0.2% to $0.07004 on $304 million in trading volume.

Smaller Tokens Outperform as Bluwhale Leads Market Gainers

Smaller cryptocurrencies delivered stronger performances despite weakness across Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and other major assets. Bluwhale (BLUAI) led the listed gainers with a 76.6% surge to $0.02616 and $62.70 million in trading volume. Cysic (CYS) followed with a 43.4% increase to $1.31, recording $99.03 million in volume.

Lobster climbed 41.9% to $0.02537, while Palladium Network (PLLDV3) advanced 37.6% to $0.4329. Moreover, Radworks (RAD) gained 33.8% to $0.2811 and generated $52.16 million in trading volume.

Geodnet (GEOD) rose 28.6% to $0.2333, supported by $12.16 million in volume. Fake World Assets (FWA) gained 22.5% to $0.0313, completing the listed group of strongest performers. The contrasting performances showed a divided cryptocurrency market, with major assets facing selling pressure while smaller tokens attracted stronger buying activity.

Bitcoin (BTC) slipping below $64,000 and XRP (XRP) reaching $1 highlighted weakness among major cryptocurrencies. However, substantial gains among smaller tokens showed that market activity remained uneven across cryptocurrency segments.
