Acala Network releases Full Trace Report of the iBTC/aUSD liquidity pool misconfiguration

In a recent announcement made through a Twitter thread, the Full Trace Report has been published by Acala Network. As revealed, a total of 281 addresses that were involved in the  iBTC/aUSD liquidity pool misconfiguration were traced.

The Full Trace Report has been published.

281 involved addresses were traced. Of the 52.068M outstanding aUSD error mints, 42.482M remain on these addresses. Error mints sent to other parachains, CEXs, etc were also included.

It was found in the trace report that 42.482M of the 52.068M outstanding aUSD error mints remains on these addresses. In addition to this, the error mints sent to other CEXs, parachains, etc were included. 

As addressed in the detailed trace report, the Acala community can utilize the resulting output and the trace script in order to verify the on-chain data and inclusively formulate proposals to resolve the error minting of aUSD. 

The Acala Network team will continue to work with partners and contributors to trace erroneously minted aUSD that have been swapped to other tokens and other relevant transactions executed by the 16 wallet addresses. 

It should be noted that the results will be published continuously in a transparent manner, and the community will be able to collaboratively formulate proposals to resolve the error minting of aUSD.

In addition to this, it was revealed that out of the 281 addresses involved, 83 addresses have managed to transfer aUSD error mints and/or aUSD error mint-swapped tokens to other parachains like CEX, Astar, and Moonbeam.
