It doesn't take long being in crypto to realise that if you want to make mega gains you need to either be super early on the project or drop a large enough chunk of money to make up for being late.
Being super early is fraught with risk, as there is just so many many unknowns and so many scams out there. Truly an undertaking for the brave as the potential to lose it all is so high.
Not everyone has a huge chunk of money either to see big gains from a X2 rise in price. Good for you if you do.
So that leaves the cheese option. Picking up projects when they go through a long consolidation after the first big correction. A project that gets an initial run will usually become overhyped. It can take a little while but eventually early buyers on the hype cycle wake up and move on. As projects take time to build and will have failures along the way. Some may not even make it.
That's when you move in, and move on the ones that were tested and are pressing on. As that more often than not has given a project a solid base, and enough of a market test to know it's appeal when it does start delivering.
