In this week’s news update we’re sharing about partnerships, multi-token payments, Gitbook, Meta-XP, and our newest team member.

🥇 Coin Payments for the M2 Pro

Our partner MatchX now supports over 100 different coins as payment options for the M2 Pro including Polkadot, Solana, Bitcoin and beyond. Have any left over Doge, or maybe some Monero? Instead of wasting time and fees to convert your coins back to Fiat, just use them to buy a miner directly today. Not sure if your coin is accepted? Give it a try and find out for yourself! And before you ask… MXC can’t be used because it’s not a security — it’s a utility token.

📖 MatchX GitBook

Next up, we turn to some news that may be interesting for the devs and engineers among our supporters! The MatchX GitBook will go live by the end of this week. For those that don’t know, GitBook is a modern documentation platform where teams document everything from products to internal knowledge bases and APIs. The MXC team will be using this to inform our community about what developments and commitments we’ve made.

🎈 Helium Deploy

Did you catch the great webinar with our very own Kirill and Ruben over on Twitch last week? If you didn’t manage to stream it live, you can still watch a replay on the Twitch channel called Crypto & Coffee.

A key takeaway: the world is turning to the M2 Pro and MXC as a smart move. This is simply more proof that the Proof of Participation model is the future! The Proof of Work model needs an enormous amount of energy, and Proof of Coverage is failing. On the other hand, Proof of Participation is low-power, decentralized and environmentally-friendly.

We’re also very glad to see MatchX’s new distributor Helium Deploy is joining the data revolution.

🔮 Meta-XP

For those who haven’t heard already, we’ve decided to improve the proximity algorithm with the M2 Pro and DataDash App. Have two miners next to each other? There will be no more 7% mining reduction! We’re now allowing up to 10 miners within a two kilometer diameter, and your miner health will not be affected. Let’s build this Data Republic together, MXC fam!

🔧 Tech Question

Now on to our tech question of the week!

Question: My miner is having trouble staying connected to my Wi-Fi network. What should I do?

Answer: Wi-Fi signal strength depends on a number of factors, such as the distance between the miner and the router, how many devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and even the materials of the surrounding walls.

That’s why we recommend using a wired connection (ethernet cables) which come equipped for more stable and reliable connectivity. However, if you have to use a wireless connection and the miner is having connectivity issues, you can first try to reboot your router.

If the problem persists, the next step is to check if your Wi-Fi is the problem. You can do so by following the instruction provided on our FAQ page.

🤗 New Team Member

Finally, we are thrilled to be welcoming a lot of new MXC crew members on board joining our massive team in Berlin! This week, we want to wish a very warm welcome to Stephany. Stephany works as specialized Tech Support, and she’s here to help solve all your technical problems along with Latifah.

Stephany has been working with us for about a month, so you may have seen her around on Discord helping people out. The MXC team is always ready to help our community out, so get in touch in case you have any questions or concerns!

Until next week, stay healthy, stay happy, and stay hodling.
