Faraland DAO Voting Function

To aim for a perfect Faraland continent, we definitely need the contribution of all heroes and FARA holders- the true owners of Faraland. Faraland is honored to introduce #DAO VOTE function so that users can voice their opinions on future project decisions.

What are DAOs?

The term DAO stands for “decentralized autonomous organization” and can be described as an open-source blockchain protocol governed by a set of rules, created by its elected members, that automatically execute certain actions without the need for intermediaries.

Both the program rules and subsequent actions are recorded on a transparent and secure blockchain ledger, which cannot be tampered with thanks to an immutable timestamp and the distribution of the information to the network participants.

Faraland and DAOs

Faraland decides to use DAOs to ask for the community’s opinions on critical decisions to the project development, to vote for changes in Faraland such as market fees, up-grade of items, Gacha, Faraland Competitions,…

DAOs are fully democratized; therefore, changes will be adapted according to the vote. Users need to connect their wallets to the website to be able to vote.

2.1. Voting Rights

Everyone has the right to vote. Voting point is measured as follows:

Voting Point = $FARA Holding Balance + $FARA Staking Balance + Hero Count * 100

For example, one has 300 FARA, 5 heroes and 2000 FARA staked, so his voting point is calculated by the aforementioned formula:

300 + 2000 + 5 * 100 = 2800 points

2.2. Proposing Rights

Only admin and those who have more than 100,000 points can propose questions.

2.3. Voting Policy

In each proposal, the option that has the most vote will be considered the final result.

What is Faraland

Faraland is a role-playing strategy war game for Android and iOS, developed on blockchain by MoonKnight Labs, a company based in Vietnam. The players control the characters of 7 races: Humans, Orcs, Elves, Fairies, Dragonborns, Angels, and Demons — each with different abilities, strengths, intelligence, and agility, to fight with other players in a universe called Faraland.
