CryptoTanks Partners with Magnus Capital to Bring 8-Bit Tanks on Blockchain

Crypto games are quite simple in terms of their mechanics. This is what makes their gameplay addicting and lets users return back into a gaming world again and again with pleasure. Of course, big AAA gaming projects do exist in the blockchain gaming industry, but they are the minority.

So far, the developers of simple projects have taken two approaches to shaping them: mobile games and old school games. For example, Town Star from Gala Games is reminiscent of a mobile game; it looks pretty much like FarmVille.

On the other hand, CryptoTanks took inspiration from 8-bit classics such as Battle City for Nintendo Entertainment System and the original GameBoy. Recently, the project received support from Magnus Capital, a venture capital firm interested in decentralized start-ups. They will become one of the major parts of the upcoming private round.
