is bitcoin the cure for this awful inflation?

will the evaluation or adoption grow due to inflation? I heard that bitcoin was made because of the 2008 financial crisis. just wondering if others think it is the solution, or is everyone waiting for the price point to spike before taking profits. like is the halving and regulation the only major things that dictates what the price point. just curious as to peoples thoughts.
