Care.Chain Testnet Goes Live: Shaping the Future of Decentralized Healthcare

2023 has been an exciting year for us, especially with the announcement on March 30th that we were building our very own Layer-2 chain dedicated to healthcare! Despite the bear market, we’re not slowing down. In fact, we’re charging full steam ahead, with updates and major announcements coming your way.

Despite the support and congratulations from our community, we knew that the work was just beginning. That’s why our CEO Pradeep Goel has been working closely with the development team to roll out a network for the community to test and visualize.

And today, we’re thrilled to announce that our Care.Chain Testnet is now live!

Today marks the beginning of Testnet Phase 1, and we are inviting our core community members to get involved. Phase 2 will launched soon and will be even more exciting as we will introduce the ability to run nodes and incentivize those who actively participate.

As of now, there are 50 live nodes operational in 10 countries. You can now view the active nodes on our Node Explorer map, giving you a glimpse into the distributed nature of our network. To ensure a high level of security, scalability, and integrity, we have created a strict verification process that all operators must undergo before becoming a Node Validator.

Only qualified and competent healthcare entities, such as doctors and health facilities, can validate events on the chain.
