There are many ETH layer 2 solutions. Can they coexist?

This is a list of ETH layer 2 solutions:

Matic Arbitrum Optimism dYdX Skale Loopring Metis Andromeda zkSync Immutable X ZKSpace Boba Network Sorare rhino.fi Aztec Connect Aztec OMG Network ZKSwap 1.0 Arbitrum Nova StarkNet ZKSwap 2.0 Polygon Hermez Layer2.Finance Etc.

Some have a very specific use case, but some are universal and all try to become the no. 1.

I think for users it would be better if there is only one eventually imho as you now need so many bridges and tutorials to learn how to use them. It's not user-friendly at all.

Also users would benefit more if liquidity is concentrated on one chain.

What do you think? Will one become the standard?
