Recap of todays Celsius Hearing. Judge wasn’t having it!!

The judge was a utter savage! He basically told Kirkland (the Debtors Counsel) to quit their BS.

The word “Ponzi” was used very frequently lol. The judge instructed the UCC and examiner to look into a Ponzi designation.

The judge literally said that he’s never seen a document like the one they submitted. They tried to redact literally everything.

Judge Glenn told Kirkland (since they were basically dismissing pro se filers). “You can’t simply blow off objections by pro se creditors because you don’t like them.”

He also told them that they need to explain “what, if any, business are the debtors conducting? Be prepared to answer it at the November 15th hearing.”

Celsius lawyer then laughed. The judge then reminded him that he wasn’t joking. 🤣

Several Pro Se creditors spoke on the motion to expand the examiners scope. Cam Crews talked about how Kirkland has a conflict since Voyager removed money from Celsius and then filed bankruptcy, and exited bankruptcy faster than Celsius. And how Kirkland (the same lawyer!!) represents both of them. The judge just approved the expansion of the scope.

Another Pro Se creditor, Daniel Frishberg spoke about cutting costs, and the need to start insider clawbacks, including Tether and FTX who got preferential payments.
