Bitcoin Cash Idea - Merge Mining

An argument we hear from Bitcoin Core maxis is that Bitcoin Cash isn't secured, it has low hashrate and can be 51% attacked. Well yes, Bitcoin Cash only has a network hashrate of 1.45 EH/s compare to bitcoin's 205.27 EH/s. But we recently saw with Hathor that merge mining could be a solution to boost the hashrate, and in return security.
If Bitcoin Cash had a way to merge mine and the major pools adopted it we can see the hashrate skyrocket pass 30 EH/s. If you look at the pools that merge mine other chains with Bitcoin they total more than 60+ EH/s (https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoin)
You can see a major example of Bitcoin's merge mining effect with Namecoin (https://miningpoolstats.stream/namecoin), 4 bitcoin pools merge mine with them letting this small altcoin have a hashrate of 133 EH/s!
I think this would be a huge idea and maybe a better insight depth on it's pros and cons should be evaluated.
