DOM3 by Leander Herzog and Milian Mori

For Warsaw Gallery Weekend 2025, NYC-based Nguyen Wahed and Warsaw-based PRPGND Gallery present DOM3, the culmination of Leander Herzog and Milian Mori's browser-based audiovisual collaboration series. This new work evolves their practice of generating both music and visuals entirely through JavaScript in the browser, where the DOM (HTML+CSS+JS) becomes both constraint and creative territory. What distinguishes DOM3 is its blockchain integration, where collectors can "flip" between Side A and Side B configurations, like a vinyl record, with their chosen version saved permanently on-chain through smart contract interaction. This mechanism transforms the work from passive generative art into participatory experience where aesthetic choice becomes inscribed in the blockchain itself.
