inter(Editions)

inter() An ongoing project exploring the notion of being within one's self solely while existing outside of their temple; living in the wild universe and depending on it, revealing the inter·connected·ness of all things, related through our actions, feelings, thoughts, and basically everything else. I try to convey and visualize this by creating images based on architecture and minimal scenery that present overlapping and intersecting facades, layers, and lines. Capturing such perspectives that contain strong highlights & shadows, and vivid colors & contrasts, while attempting to draw the different lines between what the viewer is perceiving and what can be perceived. Incorporating in all the images some of the traditional and cultural landmarks that identify and differentiate this body of work and give it a sense of identity and uniqueness.
