‘It’s time’ is the commemorative token for the seed round of phase I that celebrates mfers going onchain. The artwork by Thompson represents a tradable placeholder token for the 112 mfer base layers. If you are holding the art at the time of the layer token airdrop, you will receive a randomized, onchain & tradable base layer. This will complete phase I of the coveted onchain mfer base layers… A tough line to walk - we wanted to make sure to preserve sartoshi's stick fig mfer, his original line-work and at the same time breathe life into his story. The piece had to feel like it came from satoshi's original drawing, with Thompson’s interpretation.
