SZABOTAGE’s obsession with the spray can cultivated his street, studio, and digital practices. SZABOTAGE is best recognized by his signature Koi fish, an iconic symbol of strength, adversity and good fortune that features frequently throughout his work. He has mastered a visual language through the development of layered stencils, which has become his distinctive style. His classic stencil work is spiced with humour, wordplay, and iconic cultural references. SZABOTAGE has painted for the HKWalls Street Art Festival, was a finalist in the global phenomenon Secret Walls, and has given a TEDx talk titled ‘Resilience is the Ultimate High’. Commissioned clients include Louis Vuitton, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Deutsche Bank, Evisu, Prada, and The Ritz Carlton.
