Domain name expired.. someone else has it. Can I get it back?

ENS domains says on their website that there’s a 90 day grace period upon expiration. I originally registered the name as gout.eth except now it’s owned by somebody else. I don’t know how to tell if the grace period is up or not. How can I figure this out?
