A fresh wallet withdraws 9,132 ETH from Binance, worth about $24.37M. The address begins with 0x4876 and is newly created.

How Did the Wallet Pull It Off?

The coins left in two large transfers. Arkham data shows 4,918 ETH ($13.12M) left a Binance hot wallet about 1 hour before 06:01 UTC on 29 September 2026. 

Another 4,214 ETH ($11.19M) left a second Binance hot wallet about 3 hours before that timestamp. 

Together the two transfers make up the full 9,132 ETH. Dust transfers from OKX also appeared, but they were tiny.

Why Fresh Wallets Draw Attention

New addresses often signal a large buyer moving coins into private custody. Falling exchange balances have been a theme this week, as Binance’s Bitcoin reserves show. 

Still, a withdrawal is not proof of a purchase. The coins may sit in cold storage, or they may move on to another platform.

Ethereum’s Roadmap Keeps Moving

Network developers are also busy. A Go-Ethereum client update is laying groundwork for the Amsterdam hardfork. Buyers who watch fundamentals will note that progress.

ETH Holds Near Its Monthly Highs

At 14:49 UTC on 29 September 2026, ETH traded at $2,714.99. That is up 9.6% over 30 days. The BTC pair stood at 0.03235986.

Price started September near $2.40K and hit a low close to $2.37K in the first days of the month. A spike near $2.63K followed around 12 September, but it faded quickly. 

Price dipped back near $2.39K around 17 September. A strong rally then began, carrying ETH to a peak near $2.78K around 22 September. 

Since then, price has held a tight band between roughly $2.65K and $2.72K. Traders will also watch US data releases due this week.

What the Next Few Days Could Show

The wallet has made its move. Now the market watches where the coins go next. Will 0x4876 stay quiet, or will it send funds to a staking or custody address? That answer may say more than the withdrawal itself.
