On February 11th, Nagoya hosted a groundbreaking sensory event named “Fussion Vol.1,” where the integration of aroma scents with Web3 applications tantalized all five senses. Spearheaded by Dr. Wada from EverSystem, a company pioneering general services utilizing the IOST blockchain, along with aromatherapist maai, Fussion aims to digitize the blending data of aroma oils.

The Digitalization and Application of Aromas:

• Storing blend data of essential oils on the blockchain for verification.
• Visualizing blend data as color descriptions.
• It acts as a membership card and offers exclusive information within the app.

Unlocking Aromas in the Digital Age: EverSystem’s Blockchain-Powered Aromatherapy Revolution

During the event, attendees engaged in a thought-provoking discussion titled “Web3 Applications, Aromas, and Digital Art,” led by aromatherapist maai and Dr. Wada of EverSystem. Accompanied by the delightful scents of aromas and captivating digital art, the atmosphere was further enhanced by a live performance from a violin and guitar duo.

Aromatherapist maai delved into the challenge of visualizing aroma oil blends, considering these oils are typically colorless and transparent. Through collaboration with Dr. Wada of EverSystem, who specializes in Web3 applications, they brainstormed methods to make aroma blending visible through digital means. In Fussion, they successfully visualized the unique characteristics of each aroma blend by associating colors with individual essential oils like lavender and rose, and by quantifying the proportions of the blend. These blend proportions are securely recorded on the blockchain, allowing aroma blend owners to experience the vibrant colors generated from their blends via a mobile application.

Attendees were transported to a sensory wonderland, experiencing a departure from everyday life as they savored the aroma blends crafted by maai and witnessed the digital art these blends inspired, all while being serenaded by a violin and guitar duo.
