U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in more than $865 million between August 3 and 7. That made it their strongest week for dollar inflows in 15 weeks.

The last time weekly inflows came close to this level was April 13–17. The funds recorded $996.5 million in net inflows during that week.

ETF Inflows Stay Positive All Week

Daily flows remained positive throughout the week, with ETFs recording $170.1 million on August 3 and $211.5 million on August 4. Inflows reached $244.4 million on August 5 before falling to $137.6 million the following day. They then eased further to $101.7 million on August 7.

The five-day run brought cumulative net inflows since the funds’ launch to nearly $52.63 billion. Total net assets stood at about $79.87 billion. BlackRock’s IBIT remained the leading fund by daily inflows, accounting for a significant share of the activity across the ETF market.

Bitcoin Absorption Reaches 2026 Highs

The funds also absorbed about 13,530 BTC during the period, making it the second-largest weekly Bitcoin-denominated inflow of 2026.

January 12–16 remains the strongest week of the year, with roughly 15,000 BTC absorbed, equivalent to about $1.4 billion at the time.

However, the latest five-day total surpassed April’s previous peak of approximately 12,966 BTC. It also marked a clear shift from the distribution that dominated much of May through July, when the ETFs recorded more frequent outflows.

Bitcoin Holds Steady Amid Regulatory Uncertainty

Bitcoin traded near $65,000 during the period, keeping price movements relatively contained despite the stronger ETF flows. Notably, steady ETF inflows and high BTC absorption indicate active demand through U.S. funds despite limited movement in Bitcoin’s price.

The renewed inflows also come as the crypto market continues to assess regulatory developments, including delays surrounding the CLARITY Act. Analysts have viewed the latest ETF activity as a sign that larger market participants remain engaged with Bitcoin despite the ongoing policy uncertainty.
