TRON Surpasses $30 Trillion in Total Transaction Volume

TRON DAO announced on September 24 that the TRON blockchain has surpassed $30 trillion in total transaction volume, a milestone the Geneva-based organization frames as proof that the network has become core infrastructure for the digital-dollar economy. The figure is driven almost entirely by stablecoin activity: TRON now carries more than $94 billion in circulating Tether, the largest USDT supply on any blockchain, according to the TRON DAO announcement.
Stablecoin settlement drives the milestone
The $30 trillion figure is overwhelmingly a stablecoin story. The announcement counts more than 405 million total user accounts, over 15 billion total transactions, and more than $28 billion in total value locked on the network. Token Terminal data cited in the release shows TRON leads every chain in USDT transfer volume this year, moving roughly $6 trillion at an average of $25 billion per day, well ahead of Ethereum and Solana.
Founder Justin Sun tied the number directly to stablecoin utility. “TRON has moved $30 trillion since launch, a scale comparable to the annual output of the U.S. economy in 2025,” he said. “Every trillion dollars that moves across TRON represents real people relying on stablecoins for payments, savings, and everyday transactions.” The network’s USDT transfer volume has long outpaced its rivals.
Institutional access widens
Beyond retail flows, the announcement points to a broadening of regulated market access. Canary Capital launched its Canary Staked TRX ETF this month under the ticker TRXS, while TRX spot and futures trade on Bitnomial, a US-regulated derivatives exchange. Anchorage Digital expanded support for TRON with native TRX staking and TRC-20 custody, and the tokenized Hamilton Lane SCOPE Fund became the first Securitize-issued asset on the network. Payments providers are also building stablecoin payments on TRON for exchange users.
A cumulative milestone, not a market claim
The $30 trillion figure is an all-time cumulative metric reported by TRON DAO from TRONSCAN data, not a measure of current activity. The release does not break out recent transfer volumes, and the institutional developments it highlights are still early: the Canary TRX ETF and Bitnomial listings have only recently begun trading. Whether that momentum converts into sustained on-chain growth is unproven, but TRON’s grip on the USDT market gives it a durable base from which to expand.
Cheap, fast stablecoin transfers are also a big reason TRON-based USDT has become a common way to fund accounts on platforms that accept crypto directly, online casinos included. BlockchainReporter’s crypto casinos hub covers more than 20 of these platforms, rated on licensing, bonuses, and payout speed.
