D3 Global, a trailblazing domain name company, has unveiled exclusive partnerships with Shiba Inu and Viction blockchain ecosystems. In a strategic move, they are set to apply for and secure the coveted .shib and .vic Top-Level Domains (TLDs) during the upcoming ICANN application window.

The collaboration aims to seamlessly integrate traditional Internet infrastructure with Web3 ecosystems, offering secure, decentralized, and interoperable digital identities.

Unlocking real Web3 domains for Shiba Inu

D3 Global’s innovative approach involves bridging the gap between conventional Internet structures and Web3 technologies. The Shiba Inu ecosystem, with over 80 million users and renowned for its SHIB token and Shibarium Layer-2 blockchain, finds a key ally in D3. By obtaining the .shib TLD, the partnership aims to transcend the current limitations of Web3 naming systems, ensuring compatibility with traditional Internet elements such as DNS, websites, email, desktops, and mobile devices.

Shytoshi Kusama, Lead Developer of Shiba Inu, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating that bringing real domains to SHIB is a big deal, and expanding Shiba Inu’s vision for digital identities within its decentralized ecosystem would drive long-term revenue generation within the ecosystem.

    Empowering the Viction Ecosystem

Viction, a people-oriented Layer-1 blockchain boasting zero-gas transactions and enhanced security for over 3.7 million wallets, also stands to benefit. D3’s partnership with Viction involves securing the .vic TLD, paving the way for zero-gas transactions and improved security. Thanh Le of the Viction Foundation Council expressed enthusiasm, stating that the partnership between Viction and D3 will give their “community access to real domains” and unlock new capabilities on the path towards interoperable digital identities.

Through these strategic collaborations, D3 Global is poised to accelerate the transition to ‘real Web3 domains,’ offering enhanced utility, security, and universal access in the evolving landscape of digital identities. Users can sign up for early access, marking a significant step towards a more accessible, transparent, scalable, and secure Web3 environment.
