In Brief:

  • XRP Ledger activated fixCleanup3_3_0 with 88.57% validator support, strengthening lending, trading, payment, and account management features across network infrastructure operations.
  • BatchV1_1 approaches the activation threshold while correcting a critical transaction batching bug and improving coordinated processing of grouped ledger operations for users.
  • PermissionDelegation cleared independent security review and quality testing, enabling selected account permissions without surrendering complete control over their accounts entirely.

XRP Ledger has activated fixCleanup3_3_0, introducing corrections across features supporting lending, trading, payments, and account management. The amendment strengthens protocol reliability as developers expand the network’s financial capabilities.

Validators approved the amendment with 31 votes from 35 participants, producing 88.57% support at activation. That result exceeded the required 80% threshold throughout the mandatory 14-day voting period.

According to XRPL Foundation Director of Community Hussein Zangana, known as Vet, the upgrade provides important protocol hardening. He also thanked validators and infrastructure operators for completing the technical updates required for network activation.

The amendment corrects issues affecting Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, Automated Market Makers, and permissioned decentralized exchange functions. Additionally, it addresses Checks and pseudo-account operations across the ledger.

Together, these changes improve reliability across components that support increasingly complex financial activity. Although the amendment creates no separate application, its fixes reinforce planned XRPL services.

XRPL Lending and Batch Upgrades Gain Validator Attention

Developers have also prepared Lending Protocol version 1.1 for inclusion in the XRPL 3.4.0 software release. The update refines major elements from Lending version 1.0 while improving the protocol’s underlying functionality. Moreover, developers expect Lending and Single Asset Vaults to gain added capabilities through regular protocol revisions.

Validator attention has also shifted toward BatchV1_1, which improves transaction processing by grouping several operations. The ledger processes each approved batch as one coordinated unit.

The proposal has secured 71.43% support, placing it near the 80% level required for activation. Significantly, BatchV1_1 replaces the original Batch amendment and corrects a critical implementation bug.

Permission Delegation Advances Through Security Review

PermissionDelegationV1_1 has reached 51.43% support during the validator approval process. It lets account holders assign selected permissions without surrendering full account control.

Furthermore, Cantina Security completed an independent review, and the proposal passed the XRPL quality assurance test suite. These assessments provide validators with evidence when considering broader support.

Consequently, fixCleanup3_3_0 strengthens the foundation for lending, transaction batching, and delegated permissions. However, both pending amendments must secure sufficient backing and maintain it throughout their activation windows before joining XRPL’s mainnet.
