Blackpool FC Community Trust has unveiled an innovative Esports education programme, a fresh venture by Blackpool FC Sports College. This forward-thinking initiative, backed by the British Esports Federation, aims to shape the future of students keen on learning about the Esports world. The programme promises to provide learners with critical skills and insights, setting them on a path to various careers in the digital and gaming sectors.

A curriculum for the digital age

Blackpool provides a curriculum designed to nurture practical abilities while deepening industry understanding. Students will have access to cutting-edge Esport classrooms at Bloomfield Road, to experience a comprehensive educational journey. The course covers ground essential for thriving in Esports and beyond, into fields like STEM, digital media, and technical development. 

Beyond the classroom

Adding to the academic offerings, the programme includes a competitive twist. Students will test their skills in weekly league matches and national contests, representing Blackpool FC in prestigious tournaments. This practical exposure is not just about gaming excellence; it’s a platform for building teamwork, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities.
