Recently, rumors have been said that Sony could announce Ghost of Tsushima 2 at a place like State of Play or PlayStation Showcase. Still, it has not been announced if such a sequel exists.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 rumours

The fans have asked part two for a long time. It was a well-known leaker, Silknigth, who indicated that Sucker Punch Productions was going to announce a new game last year, and now this announcement could be happening “in the coming months.”

With a game like Ghost of Tsushima gaining more recognition and eventually becoming a movie in the years to come, it wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to guess where they might be leaning soon. That being said, it remains to be seen whether Sucker Punch is working on a new inFamous game, therefore, advising fans to take the advice with a pinch of salt. Silknigth also talked about Sony’s new communication strategy. So, a game announced for this year would be unlikely.

Leaked insights and fan expectations

Sony first announced the game as being in development one day ago. There, this new game from Sucker Punch will make its official appearance either in one or a series of State of Play or Showcase events over the next couple of months. As mentioned, in 2024, according to Sony, there will be no games of this generation from the cult series, so an edition of Ghost of Tsushima 2 is hardly possible this year.

Whether a new Ghost of Tsushima game is being developed remains to be seen. However, according to several earlier leaks, a new Ghost of Tsushima 2 game might be unveiled before the previous rumors, for instance, claimed that the game could be announced in the summer.
