Hyperliquid Price Prediction: $HYPE Eyes $100 As Whale Buys $9M HYPE

Hyperliquid price prediction interest is building again as $HYPE comes back to retest a level it only just managed to break through.

Something interesting has been happening on the four-hour chart, the kind of retest that can go either way but usually says a lot about who is really in control once it resolves.

A large wallet has also been quietly moving in the background, adding another layer to the story right as the price sits at this decision point. Here is the full picture.

Hyperliquid Price Today: Live HYPE Data and 24-Hour Change

Hyperliquid is trading at $84.021 at the time of this snapshot, down 2.16 % on the day after shedding roughly $1.85 in the past 24 hours.

Futures volume across exchanges is running at $2.73 billion against spot volume of $229.22 million, which shows leveraged trading is doing most of the heavy lifting behind HYPE's short-term price swings right now.

Open interest stands at $3.35 billion, a sizable figure that points to a lot of active positioning sitting around current levels.

Hyperliquid's market cap is at $21.18 billion, with a circulating supply of 251.53 million HYPE that matches its total and max supply of 951.94 million tokens, meaning the full token count is already in circulation.

Hyperliquid News Today: Whale Accumulates $9.1 Million From Coinbase

The latest Hyperliquid news today centers on a wallet that has been steadily pulling HYPE off exchanges.Hyperliquid latest news today

According to on-chain data shared by Onchain Lens, a whale withdrew 62.41 thousand HYPE, worth close to $5.27 million, from Coinbase over just the past four hours.

Zooming out, that same wallet, tagged 0xdf3765Ec2A30d1B9294d58062D0116c1296130ce, has accumulated 110.37 thousand HYPE, worth roughly $9.09 million, from Coinbase over the past week alone.

Moves like this, large withdrawals off a major exchange rather than deposits, are typically read as accumulation rather than an intent to sell, and it is exactly the kind of Hyperliquid latest news that traders watching this retest will want to keep an eye on.

Hype Technical Forecast: $HYPE Price Prediction and Breakout Levels

On the 4-hour chart, HYPE has been climbing while using an ascending trendline as support, and that trendline recently did its job in a big way.Hyperliquid analysis latest

The price broke above an old swing high while still resting on that rising line, confirming buyers had enough strength to clear a level that had capped upside before.

Now HYPE has pulled back and is retesting that same trendline from above, which is a fairly normal part of a healthy breakout, assuming the line holds.

The next four-hour close is what will decide where this goes.

If HYPE takes support from the trendline again and manages a close above $86.823, that would confirm the breakout is holding and open the door toward $91.995, roughly 9.4% above the current $HYPE price.

Beyond that, $100.307 comes into view as the next resistance target, close to 19.3% higher than where HYPE trades today, a level that would also mark a return to the psychologically significant triple-digit zone.

The other side of this setup needs just as much attention. If HYPE instead closes below $78.559, about 6.6% under the current price, that would confirm the ascending trendline has failed and the recent breakout has reversed into a breakdown.

In that scenario, the next support to watch sits at $74.885, roughly 10.9% below current levels, a zone where buyers stepped in during the last leg of this same uptrend.

For now, HYPE is sitting right at the trendline retest, and this is the kind of moment where the very next few 4-hour candles tend to answer the question the whole setup has been building toward.

Bull, Base, and Bear Case for Hyperliquid

In the bullish case, $HYPE holds its ascending trendline through this retest, pushes a four-hour close through $86.823, and continues riding both the whale accumulation trend and its recent structural breakout toward $91.995 and eventually the $100.307 zone.

The base case has $HYPE chopping around the trendline for a few more sessions, testing $86.823 once or twice without a decisive close in either direction, which is a common pause after a swing-high breakout before the market commits to its next move.

The bearish case shows up if sellers force a four-hour close under $78.559. That would undo the recent breakout entirely, and with open interest sitting above $3 billion, a break like that could accelerate quickly as leveraged longs get squeezed out on the way down toward $74.885.

Risks to Watch

Leverage is a major factor here, with open interest at $3.35 billion against a much smaller spot market, so sharp moves in either direction can happen faster than the trend itself would suggest.

Continued whale withdrawals from exchanges are generally a bullish on-chain signal, but they do not guarantee price follows through immediately, and broader crypto sentiment or Hyperliquid-specific developments could easily override the technical picture in the short term.

These levels are best treated as a framework for tracking the trend rather than a fixed outcome.

Key Terms

Ascending trendline: A line drawn along a series of rising lows that acts as dynamic support while price trends upward.

Trendline retest: A pullback to a previously broken level where the market checks whether that level now holds as new support or resistance.

Open interest: The total number of outstanding derivative contracts that have not been settled, used as a gauge of active leveraged positioning.

On-chain accumulation: A pattern where a wallet consistently withdraws an asset from exchanges, generally interpreted as an intent to hold rather than sell.
