GAM3S.GG Secures $2M Funding, All Set for $G3 Token Launch for Gamers

Web-3 gaming superapp GAM3S.GG has disclosed plans to create its native $G3 token and announced a $2 million funding round in an effort to promote web3 gaming and support their goal of onboarding the next 100 million players.

A number of prominent VCs, including Merit Circle, WWVentures, Cogitent Ventures, P2 Ventures, Cypher Capital, Acheron, Basics Capital, OIG Capital, BreederDAO, and Hercules Ventures, participated in the round. Notable angel investors included Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG, Jiho Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis & Ronin, and Giulio Xiloyannis, co-founder of LiquidX.

GAM3S.GG intends to go forward with the launch of its native $G3 token after the financing round. The $G3 token will be distributed to a worldwide audience of web3 players via a public sale and an airdrop event to honor the early adopters during the last 1.5 years as part of a token issuance event that is set for early April. Exclusive platform features, game awards, and the chance to take part in future token launches for games are all expected to be unlocked with the $G3 token.

With over 300,000 registered users, the GAM3S.GG superapp highlights the best web3 games through content curation, eliminates onboarding barriers, and enables players to engage with their favorite blockchain-powered games in previously unheard-of ways by streamlining the user experience, offering early access, and producing an abundance of guides and objective reviews.

This next stage marks an exciting new chapter in the firm’s path. With a library of over 350 games, more than 80 of which are immediately playable on the browser via the platform, and hosting the largest annual awards ceremony in the industry in December since 2022, the company is moving forward.

Over 75,000 unique users have completed over 1 million missions using the platform’s quest system, which has recently seen 78 quests released in collaboration with some of the top blockchain game titles, including as Shrapnel, Big Time, Axie Infinity, MetalCore, and Illuvium.
