Vietnam’s manufacturing sectors are increasingly embracing sustainable and eco-friendly practices, attracting substantial interest from both local and global partners. This shift aligns with worldwide demands for innovation, environmental responsibility, and resilient economic progress.

Private sector confidence continues to rise as a core engine of Vietnam’s economy. Partners now provide comprehensive support that extends beyond funding to include expert guidance in operations, strategic development, and international market access. Such collaborations strengthen enterprise capabilities, drive technological upgrades, and foster advancements in priority industries.

Partners prioritize enterprises demonstrating solid performance metrics, advanced technical expertise, and strong expansion prospects. Evaluation criteria now emphasize superior standards, enduring impact, and alignment with governance excellence, cutting-edge adoption, and eco-conscious planning.

Green Mobility Gains Momentum in Vietnam

The global drive toward net-zero emissions by 2050 has spotlighted sustainable transportation solutions. Vietnam’s massive two-wheeler market—featuring over 77 million motorbikes in use and nearly 3 million new sales each year—positions it as a leading player worldwide. This creates fertile ground for companies pioneering electric alternatives.

Dat Bike stands out as a homegrown leader in electric motorbike production. The company handles end-to-end processes, from design and research to assembly, incorporating high-performance technologies tailored to local needs.

In early March 2026, Thien Viet Securities JSC (TVS) committed $4 million to Dat Bike during its Series B funding round. This brings the company’s total raised capital to $51 million. The resources will fuel increased manufacturing output, robust supply networks, broader sales channels, and intensified innovation efforts.

TVS extends additional value through advisory services in corporate management, strategic roadmaps, efficiency improvements across operations, and linkages to financial ecosystems. These elements aim to elevate performance and support sustained progress.

Nguyen Ba Canh Son, Founder and CEO of Dat Bike, highlighted the partnership’s role in validating Vietnamese technological prowess and the firm’s forward-looking vision. The collaboration is set to speed up scaling, broaden product ranges, refine customer experiences, and advance national climate objectives. Notably, initiatives like Hanoi’s planned restrictions on gasoline motorbikes in central areas starting July 2026 further accelerate demand for electric options.

Furniture Sector Expands Through Digital Global Reach

Vietnam’s furniture manufacturing integrates deeper into worldwide supply systems, transitioning toward direct consumer engagement via digital platforms. Producers move beyond traditional OEM roles to independent sales on international e-commerce sites, capturing higher value and market diversity.

Vietnam solidifies its status as a vital link in global furniture networks, excelling in mid-to-premium categories with reliable capacity and quality output.

To enhance this trajectory, Wayfair partnered with the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) through a Memorandum of Understanding signed at the Wayfair Global Selling Vietnam Summit 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City. The pact initiates targeted initiatives to empower local firms and elevate Vietnam’s profile in international furniture arenas.

Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director of Vietrade, noted that alliances with specialized online marketplaces like Wayfair open advanced sales pathways. This boosts visibility for Vietnamese offerings—including furniture, wooden products, and interior accessories—in demanding regions such as North America and Europe.

These examples illustrate broader patterns in Vietnam’s industrial evolution during 2026. Emphasis on sustainability, technological integration, and strategic alliances positions key sectors for enhanced competitiveness amid global green transitions.
