On July 2, Cardano’s native token, ADA, was trading at approximately $0.1588 at the time of writing, up 4.9% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data.

The move lifted Cardano’s market capitalization to around $5.78 billion, also up 4.9% on the day. ADA’s 24-hour trading volume stood near $498.2 million, representing a 3.16% increase and suggesting that the advance was accompanied by moderately stronger market activity.

Over the past day, ADA traded as low as $0.151 before climbing toward $0.159. The token was approaching the psychologically important $0.16 level, which could become a near-term level that traders watch if buying momentum continues.

Cardano currently ranks around 15th among cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Its circulating supply is approximately 36.39 billion ADA, out of a maximum supply of 45 billion tokens. The project’s fully diluted valuation was listed at roughly $7.14 billion.

Trading activity picks up alongside the price

Cardano’s volume-to-market-cap ratio was about 8.61% over the previous 24 hours. While that is not, by itself, confirmation of a sustained rally, rising trading activity alongside a price increase can indicate that the move is receiving broader market participation rather than occurring on thin liquidity alone.

Still, a one-day gain does not establish a longer-term trend. ADA remains sensitive to wider crypto-market conditions, Bitcoin’s direction and risk appetite across large-cap altcoins.

What to watch next

For now, the key level is $0.16. A sustained move above that area could strengthen the short-term bullish setup, while failure to hold recent gains may bring attention back to the $0.155 and $0.151 zones seen during the prior 24-hour trading period.

Cardano’s latest move shows that interest in established alternative cryptocurrencies remains active, but whether ADA can extend the rally will likely depend on continued volume and broader market momentum.
