In Brief:

  • Bitwise attracted $19.16 million of the $20.02 million entering U.S. spot XRP ETFs, dominating the funds’ daily inflows.
  • Combined XRP ETF assets reached $1.73 billion, while trading volume totaled $95.70 million across the five listed U.S. funds.
  • XRP traded above $1.60, exceeding its upper Bollinger Band as the 14-day relative strength index approached 70.

U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracted $20.02 million in net inflows on September 22, while XRP traded above $1.60. Bitwise accounted for nearly all the new investment, leading both daily inflows and trading volume among the listed funds.

According to data from SoSoValue, the Bitwise XRP fund drew $19.16 million, representing roughly 96% of the combined daily inflow. Franklin’s XRPZ added $862,200, while the Canary, 21Shares, and Grayscale funds recorded no net flows for the session.

Although those three funds reported no net additions, their shares still changed hands during the trading day. Across all five products, trading volume reached $95.70 million, with Bitwise accounting for $65.40 million of that amount.

Franklin generated another $18.92 million in trading volume, while Canary’s XRPC recorded $8.94 million. The difference between trading volume and net inflows matters because purchases and sales can offset each other.

The inflows lifted cumulative net investment across the XRP funds to approximately $1.73 billion. Their combined net assets also reached about $1.73 billion, equivalent to roughly 1.75% of XRP’s market capitalization.

Bitwise held the largest asset base at $615.05 million, followed by Franklin with $449.21 million. Canary held $392.73 million, placing those three products well ahead of the remaining funds by net assets.

Meanwhile, the 21Shares fund held $170.48 million in assets despite cumulative net outflows of $21.15 million. Grayscale’s fund held $103.93 million, bringing the combined assets of the five listed products near $1.73 billion.

XRP Price Climbs Beyond Upper Bollinger Band

XRP traded around $1.6028 on Bitstamp’s daily chart, moving back toward the highs reached during its earlier advance. The price briefly exceeded the upper Bollinger Band near $1.5689, tracking the upper boundary of XRP’s recent range.

By comparison, the middle Bollinger Band stood near $1.4033. That gap reflects the scale of the recovery, especially after the pullback earlier in September. The 14-day relative strength index stood near 69, while its average was approximately 55.32. A reading near 70 points to strong recent momentum, though it does not determine the direction of the next move.

The price around $1.60 puts XRP near another test of its earlier high around $1.65 to $1.66. If XRP retreats, the upper Bollinger Band near $1.5689 provides a nearby reference for assessing whether the gain holds.

For the ETF market, the September 22 figures leave Bitwise responsible for almost the entire daily inflow as its lead coincided with XRP trading above $1.60.
