With the impending Ethereum Cancun upgrade, QuarkChain’s future plans for transitioning to L2 are becoming more pronounced. Leveraging years of accumulated technical expertise and research, QuarkChain strategically announced its transition to Ethereum Layer 2.

Our current core technology to differentiate QuarkChain’s layer 2 from others is the zk Fraud Proof technology, which aims to reduce the finality time of Optimistic rollup from 7 days to 1 hour (see the proposal here).

We have also conducted extensive research on Parallel EVM and decided to implement it into QuarkChain’s Layer 2.
