Ternoa, a project focused on achieving blockchain privacy, has on-boarded Anurag Arjun as its new advisor.

Anurag is the co-founder of the popular and widely successful crypto project Polygon (MATIC) and is currently leading the modular blockchain Avail, which most recently raised $27 million in a seed round. The ex-Polygon co-founder helped build one of the first Zero-Knowledge rollups, Polygon zkEVM, and will now be advising Ternoa in its pursuit of achieving mass web3 adoption.

Empowering Ternoa’s Vision

With his experience, skills, and contacts, Anurag will help Ternoa gain entry into the ETH ecosystem as zkEVM L2 and democratize its technology, in particular with security (Ternoa Fortress), which brings game-changing benefits to the ecosystem.

Last month, Ternoa also partnered with Avail to utilize its data availability solution to enhance the reliability and security of its upcoming zkEVM Layer 2. This means, it’s in the interest of both projects to lift each other up.

Innovating for Privacy

Ternoa is a multi-network and cross-layer protocol leveraging confidential computing technologies to make blockchain more secure, private, and scalable. It aims to build the next generation of applications, games, and Web3 experiences with the CAPSULE COIN ($CAPS) at the center of this innovation. The native token is used to make transactions, build apps, and secure the Ternoa network.

The layer 1 blockchain platform boasts a tech stack that can cater to the needs of the greatest number of developers regardless of their background or the type of application they want to build. The platform offers privacy features through its decentralized key management system, which allows developers to create and compose private yet trustless applications with ease.

This blockchain network consists of three independent yet interconnected networks: Ternoa Chain, Ternoa Fortress, and Ternoa zkEVM.

Built on Substrate, Ternoa Chain is a WASM Layer 1 blockchain network where developers deploy smart contracts coded in Rust, C, C++, or Typescript. It facilitates the onboarding of Web 1 and 2 builders in Web3.

Ternoa Fortress, meanwhile, is a decentralized TEE-powered coprocessor network that enables users to encrypt off-chain data with on-chain encryption keys. It aims to enable data privacy and decentralized security.

Then there is Ternoa zkEVM, a Layer 2 that combines zero-knowledge proofs with additional TEE proofs. By bringing in enhanced TEE security to zkEVM, it makes the Ternoa ecosystem accessible natively from Ethereum.

The protocol is currently being used by projects like Time Guardian, Hereditas, Secret Stash, Mafiafoot, and Virtual Regatta to build applications ranging from data privacy to marketplaces, gaming, and more. The Ternoa tech stack can also be leveraged for private data storage and transfer, monetizing completely private content, and building real-world asset tokenization projects.

Now, with Anurag’s guidance, Ternoa aims to make the Internet a more decentralized and private place.
