What to Know

  • Ethereum could reach $3,000 if buyers confirm a breakout above the triangle’s resistance zone between $2,500 and $2,565 successfully and decisively.
  • Previous triangle breakout lifted ETH 30.91% within three days, supporting Ali Charts’ bullish projection for another major price expansion upward.
  • Losing support near $2,400 could weaken the bullish structure, while a drop below $2,350 exposes lower price levels for buyers.

Ethereum could climb toward $3,000 if buyers secure a breakout from the triangle forming on its 12-hour chart. According to Ali Charts, a similar technical formation previously drove Ethereum 30.91% higher within three days.

That earlier pattern developed while ETH traded between approximately $1,800 and $1,950, with buyers establishing progressively higher support. Price cleared resistance near $1,950 before advancing into the broader region between $2,450 and $2,550.

Ali Charts identified comparable conditions within the current structure, where rising support meets a relatively stable resistance boundary. Meanwhile, sellers have repeatedly defended the area around $2,500, preventing Ethereum from confirming another upward expansion. ETH traded near $2,474 on the chart, placing it close to the triangle’s narrowing upper section.

Ethereum Must Break $2,500 Resistance

A move from $2,474 to $3,000 requires a gain of approximately 21.3%, making the analyst’s projection achievable. Moreover, repeating the previous 30.91% advance would carry Ethereum beyond $3,200, considerably above the stated objective.

However, the triangle does not guarantee another rally because buyers must establish strength above its resistance boundary. A convincing 12-hour close between $2,500 and $2,565 would provide stronger evidence that the expected breakout has started.

Additionally, increased trading volume could confirm genuine participation and reduce concerns surrounding a possible false breakout. Traders may monitor whether ETH converts former resistance into support during a subsequent retest of the breakout area. Holding that region could open a path toward $2,750, the next important checkpoint before the $3,000 target.

Ethereum Setup Retains Downside Risks

The technical outlook would weaken if Ethereum loses the rising support line located around the $2,400 region. Furthermore, a decisive decline below $2,350 could invalidate the setup and expose lower support near $2,250.

Nevertheless, Ethereum has retained most of its 30.91% advance while consolidating close to recent price highs. This resilience suggests buyers remain active, although resistance must fall before markets can validate Ali Charts’ $3,000 projection. Ethereum’s next confirmed break outside the triangle will determine whether bullish momentum strengthens or consolidation persists.
