Besides making it "anonymous", "untraceable" and "decentralized" what are some other features crypto can offer to people like me and you that are probably the average joe?
Some of the things I've used it for is:
- Quick payment
- At least by now, you can protect against inflation using stable coins (don't look at LUNC please)
- Some exchanges teach you how to trade which is a big feature (education is unvaluable)
- Learning web3 (education is unvaluable x2)
Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology can provide solutions to a large number of problems. However, there are barriers for new users trying to enter this ecosystem. Bitcoin terminology implies basic knowledge in finance, economics, technology, programming and English, dramatically raising the learning curve.
Most of this Latin American behavior is explained by taking into account that cryptocurrencies are used in the region mainly as a store of value, a way to send remittances and to generate income.
