While the crypto winter keeps freezing many sports sponsorship deals, Choise.com inks partnership with the Vienna Vikings American football club. Among the factors that spawned the collaboration is the company’s commitment to spearheading crypto adoption in 2023. 

After the multiple collapses that 2022 has brought to the crypto domain, the major market players started scrutinizing their advertising spend, including investment in sports sponsorship. The latest study from MediaRadar recorded the premier crypto advertisers allocated just $35 million on marketing needs in Q3 of last year. This is an 80% decline in comparison with an indicator of Q1, which saw a whopping crypto advertising adorning the world’s biggest sporting event – the Super Bowl. 

But it seems like no shocking events have affected Choise.com, a comprehensive one-stop crypto platform for both CeFi and DeFi users. The company has just tapped into the sports sponsorship field by joining forces with the Vienna Vikings. The ceremony was held in front of over 3,500 adoring fans, and the game itself reached 4 million viewers due to the broadcast we supported. An absolutely tremendous experience which culminated with a confident victory of the Vienna Vikings, 47-14,” Gorbunov shared.

It will be interesting to see how the partnership between the versatile crypto platform and the European football leaders will unfold. Whether this forged alliance signals a big wave of sports sponsorships for Choise.com also remains to be seen.

However, Coinpedia reached out to the company’s Director for Strategy & Investments Austin Kimm to find out if they will further consider teaming up with sports brands to make crypto accessible for as many people as possible.
