A trader known as MrPink posted that SOL is "a $1,000 token trading at $118" and that a massive pump is coming. 

The post gave no reasons, data, or timeline, so it is opinion and not analysis. For context, the highest level marked on the chart below is $170.

SOL Price Technical Analysis

SOL spent most of late August and early September moving sideways between about $96 and $110. The $110 level was the top of that range. In mid-September, the price broke above it with a strong green candle and kept climbing, reaching about $123 in recent sessions.

The climb stopped at the red zone near $125. One candle moved into that zone, then sellers pushed the price back. Today's candle is red. SOL opened at $121.96, fell to $117.56, and closed at $118.05. The Solana price today is down 4%.

The old $110 top is now a floor. Price often comes back to test a level it just broke, and buyers often step in there. Two EMAs sit below price. The 20 EMA is at $111.88, and the 50 EMA is at $101.77. 

Both point up, and the price is above both, so the trend is still up.
