Bitcoin (BTC) slipped below $64,000 as several major altcoins gained ground, creating mixed trading conditions across the broader cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin (BTC) traded at $63,726.87 following a 0.5% decline, while its daily trading volume reached approximately $21.03 billion. Its market capitalization remained around $1.28 trillion, keeping Bitcoin (BTC) firmly positioned as the cryptocurrency market’s largest digital asset.


Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) gained 0.7% to $1,887.87, supported by approximately $6.93 billion in trading volume and a $227.83 billion valuation. BNB (BNB) delivered a stronger performance, climbing 1.9% to $611.41 as trading volume reached approximately $912.46 million during the period.


XRP (XRP) advanced 1.0% to $1.02, accompanied by more than $1.20 billion in trading volume and a $63.92 billion market capitalization. Additionally, Solana (SOL) gained 0.4% to $76.04, while TRON (TRX) increased 1.3% to $0.3363 during the measured period.


Dogecoin (DOGE) outperformed several major cryptocurrencies by rising 2.2% to $0.0716, supported by nearly $503 million in daily trading volume. However, Hyperliquid (HYPE) declined 1.0% to $55.05, contrasting with gains recorded across several other leading altcoins.

Smaller Cryptocurrencies Outperform Major Coins With Double-Digit Gains

Beyond major cryptocurrencies, several smaller tokens recorded significantly stronger percentage gains, although their trading volumes showed considerable differences in market participation. Arowana (ARW) led the gainers with a 93.0% increase to $0.05923, despite recording only $57,653.09 in trading volume. Meanwhile, aPriori (APR) surged 58.2% to $0.3147, supported by approximately $16.37 million in trading activity during the period.


Velvet (VELVET) climbed 28.1% to $0.557 as its trading volume reached approximately $42.46 million across cryptocurrency exchanges. XMAQUINA (DEUS) gained 24.5% to $0.02438, while Prom (PROM) advanced 23.8% to $2.80 with $48.44 million in volume.


Moreover, Pons (PONS) increased 20.7% to $0.04878 as traders generated approximately $5.47 million in transaction volume. Cap (CAP) rose 17.0% to $0.05492, recording $100.18 million in volume and leading the listed gainers by trading activity. Holoworld (HOLO) completed the group with a 15.1% increase to $0.08107, accompanied by approximately $89.84 million in volume.


Overall, Bitcoin (BTC) remained below $64,000 while BNB (BNB), XRP (XRP), and Dogecoin (DOGE) recorded gains across major cryptocurrencies. Smaller tokens produced considerably larger percentage increases, highlighting uneven price performance across different segments of the cryptocurrency market.
