THORswap has resumed operations after updating its terms of service to exclude users from sanctioned countries, including those sanctioned by the United States, United Kingdom, or European Union. The project has enlisted the help of an unnamed data provider to enforce these restrictions. Users from countries including Belarus, Iran, North Korea, and Zimbabwe are not eligible to use the platform according to its terms of service. THORswap suspended its interface in October following the $470m FTX hack, but despite this, the hacker managed to launder the assets through other venues on the Thorchain network.
