Solana’s RWA Adoption Hits a Huge Milestone: Bullish?

Solana’s RWA adoption just crossed a threshold that took less than two years to reach.
The network’s real-world asset holders passed 400,000 for the first time, up from under 10,000 in January 2025, according to Solana’s tracking of the milestone, which cites RWA.xyz data.

The Growth Curve Behind the Number
The pace here is what stands out. Holder counts sat near flat through most of 2024. Growth started bending upward through mid-2025, then turned sharply vertical over the past year.
Solana’s total distributed RWA value has followed a similar path, climbing from roughly $1.4 billion in January 2026 to over $4.2 billion by early September, tripling in under eight months.
Solana Is Leading Net Flows, Not Just Holder Counts
Solana pulled in $348 million in net RWA inflows over the past 30 days, the largest gain among all tracked networks, according to a September 5 statement from the RWA Foundation.
That translated to 11.13% growth in distributed value over the same window. Ethereum grew just 0.77% in comparison, and both XRP Ledger and Avalanche saw net outflows, down 5.51% and 14.06% respectively.
Techgaged tracked the early stage of this same institutional shift back in June, when Goldman Sachs began building an SOL ETF position well before this RWA growth accelerated.
Ethereum Still Wins on Raw Value
Holder count isn’t the same as total value, and that distinction matters here. Ethereum still holds the largest raw RWA total, above $15 billion, driven mostly by institutional-scale treasury products.
Solana’s strength is in breadth rather than size, more individual wallets holding smaller positions rather than fewer large institutional accounts.
Techgaged flagged this same institutional-versus-retail divide earlier in the year, tracking how Solana’s whale accumulation patterns built up steadily well before retail RWA activity caught up to it.
SOL’s Price Outlook
SOL trades at $102.94 on September 8, 2026 (11:00 UTC), up 0.7% over seven days. The chart shows real chop underneath that modest number.

Price dipped to $98 around September 2 and 3, spiked to $104 by September 4, dipped again to $102 on September 5, climbed to $106.70 by September 6 and 7, then pulled back to $102.94 by week’s end.
Bullish?
Yes, cautiously. A 400,000-holder milestone with the fastest net inflow growth of any chain is a genuine adoption signal, not a vanity metric.
But holder count doesn’t guarantee price follow-through on its own, and this week’s price chop shows the market hasn’t fully caught up to the on-chain story yet.
If Solana keeps leading net RWA flows into Q4, that gap between adoption and price is more likely to close upward than to stay this wide.
