Barcelona-based start-up, Games for a Living (GFAL), has broken records with its GFAL token pre-sale launch on Seedify, Bit2Me, and Enjinstarter. The GFAL team is thrilled with the unprecedented success and grateful for the overwhelming support from the gaming community. Bit2Me's allocation sold out in under 10 seconds, while Seedify's second round sold out in just 17 seconds. The Enjinstarter launch also saw an excellent response, with their second-round allocation selling out in under a minute.

Focussing on blockchain gaming and play-and-earn, the company aims to be at the forefront of blockchain gaming and its capacity to innovate the way games function and how players experience them. Trip Hawkins, former Apple executive and founder of Electronic Arts, has joined the start-up as co-founder and strategy chief.

Record-breaking IGO

"We are grateful for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the gaming community, and we believe that the record-breaking success of our token pre-sale launch is a testament to it. At Games for a living, we remain committed to delivering an exceptional gaming experience to our users, and we will continue to work tirelessly towards achieving this goal. Our community can rest assured that we will always strive to provide the best possible content," wrote the team in the announcement, while expressing their gratitude to their launchpad partner, Seedify, that leveraged boosted promotion ahead of the iconic game’s utility token IGO.

What’s Coming Next

Now operating as Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Games for a living, the start-up was established alongside Manel Sort – former FVP of Activision Blizzard King, the developer behind the Candy Crush Saga.

One of the initial games to be launched by the company is called ‘Elemental Raiders’, which is currently available with a non-blockchain and free to play version for users on Steam with over 75% positive reviews. The company has also started launching the Elemental Raiders play-and-earn features in phases, allowing users to earn tokens, NFTs and other assets  within the game. According to the company, NFTs and other assets will be operating on the BNB chain, with other elements being on Ethereum. In total, GFAL has these games still under development with aims to launch them across Quarters 2 and 3 respectively, with another 2 titles in the pipeline.

The response to the GFAL token pre-sale launch has been exceptional, and the GFAL team is excited to take this project to the next level. With the pre-sale behind them, the team is fully focused on the GFAL token TGE (Token Generation Event) that is going live on Monday, March 13th, 2023, at 14:00 UTC on three major platforms - Pancakeswap, BitMart and Bit2Me.
