  • Veve partners with Marvel to release NFT covers of Spider-Man, Black Panther.
  • The partnership will be using the scaling solution Immutable X.
  • NFT sales continue to drop according to data by Dappradar.

Veve, a firm that specializes in digital collectibles, recently made an announcement about dropping three Marvel comic book character NFTs covers on the Veve web app.

The blog post states that the launch of the Marvel Artworks series of NFT will include three special editions centered on Spider-Man and Black Panther. These editions will be created from 1-of-1 NFT drops of three different Marvel comic covers.

The NFTs include artworks created by Sara Pichelli, Brian Stelfreeze, and Skottie Young, three of Marvel’s most talented artists. The Immutable X scaling solution underpins each and every one of the NFTs.

The NFT auction hosted by Veve and Marvel began on August 30, and it will continue until Friday, September 2nd According to Veve, the auction will be silent, and the minimum opening bid for each digital collectible is set at $1,500.

The company said: “All bids are hidden from auction participants, and therefore, the highest bid wins once the auction timer expires.”

This indicates that the value of each client’s offer will be concealed from the other bidders as well as from themselves. The person who placed the highest offer will emerge victorious after the auction is over.

In related developments, according to the data collected over the last month by analytics site Dappradar, sales of NFTs have dropped by over 10% when compared to the data collected over the previous 30 days. The most recent month’s sales of NFT produced $603.33 million, which is less than the $666.93 million created in the previous month.
