![]() | I bought this exact same laptop for $99 at Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-flex-3-chromebook-11-6-hd-touch-screen-laptop-mediatek-mt8183-4gb-64gb-emmc-abyss-blue/6500337.p?skuId=6500337 It has a linux shell, and I copied over the blockchain that I had downloaded from another computer because it was faster. The 1tb external ssd I bought on ebay for $89. All told running a bitcoin core node for under $200. Not bad! Planning on releasing a tutorial about how to do this yourself. It's a bit tricky because the debian os is missing some libraries that you need to install. Stoked to be validating and connected with peers. I hope to run a lightning node next! [link] [comments] |
