Our favourite day of the Moon cycle is here!

The title says it all, it's forsure not the worst day of the month because the day of the Moon distribution is here!

To celebrate today I got some interesting things to know about our Moons.

Moons holders are under represented:

Only ~3.2% of the members has a vault here on this sub. On this subreddit we have ~5.65 million members. The current amount of Moon adresses is: 180.773 Here is the link of the amount of adresses link.

When you have a vault, you are eligible to earn and receive Moons.

Burned and lost Moons:

With Bitcoin, it is claimed that about 3 million BTC is lost forever thanks to lost wallets or lost passphrases.

When you comment here on r/CC you earn karma, and with that karma you get Moons every cycle.

The same actually applies with Moons, now I don't know how much is lost (atleast a couple million), alot of people didn't make a vault

in the beginning when Moons got introduced, people just forgot their passphrases to their Reddit vault.

Some bonus dream hopium for you:

If we calculate the scarcity of Moons compared to Bitcoin, approx. 12 Moons would be 1 BTC.

(250.000.000 Moons / 21.000.000 Bitcoin = 11,9 Moons) With the current Bitcoin marketcap, 1 Moon would be worth approx. $1,568 Dollars.

Now we know this is really unrealistic, unless something very unexpected happens.

Let's try it again but with a little more realistic marketcap of a top 100 project. But also with the current amount of Moons in circulation (104.253.548).

With a top 100 project marketcap of $343 million, 1 Moon would be worth approx. $3.29

This is realistic by the next bull run in my honest opinion.
