Solana Price Prediction: SOL Eyes $84 as E*Trade Listing Fuels Demand

Solana is trading close to $77 after two pieces of news gave the token fresh attention this week.
As per a Capital Market tweet, E*Trade added SOL to its spot trading platform, and the Solana network kept posting strong activity numbers. Traders are now asking where the coin heads next.
At the time of writing, SOL sits around $77.45, down about 1.14% over the past day. The price has been moving inside a tight range for weeks, and the latest news may decide which way it breaks.
Why Is Solana Price Moving Today?
The biggest driver right now is access. Morgan Stanley's E*Trade platform finished rolling out crypto spot trading and added Solana next to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
This matters because E*Trade has a large base of everyday investors. Many of them never opened a crypto exchange account before. Now they can buy SOL through a brokerage they already trust.
Ramp also expanded its payments platform using Solana-powered stablecoin accounts. Businesses can now hold, send, and receive USDC and USDT on Solana rails without running separate crypto systems.
On top of that, SOL pulled in $330 million in stablecoin inflows over 24 hours, with Circle leading the way.
Tokenized equities on Solana lending markets hit a weekly high of $51.9 million, split between Kamino and Jupiter Exchange.
Solana Price Forecast: What Does the Chart Show?
The daily chart shows price trading inside an ascending channel since bouncing off the June low near $60.
Right now, SOL is consolidating around $77.5. The 20 EMA and 50 EMA sit close together near $76.7 to $76.8, acting as short-term support. The 100 EMA near $80.4 is the immediate resistance overhead.
The RSI reads near 53, which is neutral. That leaves room for a move in either direction without the market being overbought or oversold.
Level Type | Price Zone | Signal |
Support | $76.00 - $77.00 | Key floor to hold |
Resistance | $80.40 | 100 EMA barrier |
Upside Target 1 | $84.00 | 0.618 Fib level |
Upside Target 2 | $90.00 | 0.786 Fib level |
Extended Target | $98.00 | Medium-term stretch goal |
Downside Target 1 | $69.00 | First support if trend breaks |
Downside Target 2 | $60.00 | Major historical support |
If buyers hold the $76-77 zone and push through $80.4, the next stops are $84 and then $90. A clean break above those could open a path toward $98 over the medium term.
If the altcoin closes below $76 and loses the ascending trendline, sellers could take over. In that case, $69 comes into view first, followed by $60.
Will Solana Longs or Shorts Get Liquidated Next?
Derivatives data adds more context to the setup. Solana's 24-hour futures volume sits at $5.20 billion, down over 20% from the prior day, while open interest is at $4.89 billion, down 1.87%.
The long/short ratio across accounts on Binance stands at 2.27, and OKX shows a similar 2.23 reading. This means more traders are positioned long than short at current prices.
Liquidation data from Coinglass shows a heavier cluster of short liquidation leverage building above $77.5, climbing toward the $78.5-$79.5 zone.
Below the current price, long liquidation leverage tapers off gradually down toward the $70-$74 range.
In the past 24 hours, rekt data shows $1.90 million in long liquidations against $482,880 in short liquidations, pointing to recent downside pressure testing leveraged long positions.
Is SOL ETF Inflow Increasing in 2026?
Yes. U.S. spot SOL ETFs recorded $5.83 million in net inflows on the most recent day, the highest daily figure in 14 days. The BSOL fund led that inflow.
Steady ETF demand, combined with the E*Trade listing, gives Solana two separate channels for fresh capital from traditional finance investors who previously stayed on the sidelines.
Solana Price Prediction: What's Next for SOL?
SOL price prediction leans cautiously bullish while the ascending channel holds and the $76-77 support zone stays intact. A break above $80.4 would strengthen the case for a run at $84 and $90.
A failure to hold the trendline and a close under $76 would shift the picture toward $69 and then $60.
Market direction will also depend on broader crypto sentiment, since SOL rarely moves in isolation from Bitcoin and the wider market.
