Stellar (XLM) price predictions raise a familiar question: how much could the token gain as blockchain payments become more widely used? Stellar helps people and businesses move money and exchange digital assets. Its native token, XLM, plays a role in those services, but its price depends on more than network growth.

The current XLM price is around $0.22. Could it return to $1 or eventually reach $5 or $10? This guide explores Stellar’s recent performance, technical indicators, and price predictions for 2026–2050. We also look at what could support higher prices, what might hold XLM back, and how to exchange it through StealthEX. So, let’s get started!

XLM Price Prediction: Can Stellar Lumens Reach $10?

Stellar Lumens (XLM) Overview

Stellar launched in 2014, with Jed McCaleb and Joyce Kim among its founders. The nonprofit Stellar Development Foundation supports the ecosystem’s development. Its original goal—making financial transfers more accessible—remains central to the network.

Stellar uses the Stellar Consensus Protocol, based on federated Byzantine agreement. Validators choose trusted participants and reach agreement through overlapping groups. This design does not require competitive cryptocurrency mining.

Today, Stellar supports payments, asset issuance, decentralized exchange, and smart contracts. Soroban’s public smart-contract launch took place in March 2024, extending the network beyond its original payment functions. Developers can build applications that interact with assets and financial services on Stellar.

What Are Stellar Lumens Used For?

XLM has several roles:

  • Transaction fees: Network operations require fees denominated in XLM.
  • Account reserves: Stellar accounts generally need a minimum XLM balance to support their ledger entries.
  • Asset exchange: XLM can provide liquidity between assets.
  • Payments: Users can transfer XLM directly between compatible accounts.

Stellar also supports path payments, where someone sends one asset and the recipient receives another. These payments use available exchange paths and liquidity. XLM does not have to sit in the middle of every conversion.

Stellar Features

FeatureWhat It Does
Cross-border paymentsConnects users and payment providers across different markets.
Asset issuanceAllows organizations to issue digital representations of currencies and other assets.
Built-in exchangeSupports trading through an on-chain order book and liquidity pools.
Path paymentsConverts supported assets during a payment when sufficient liquidity exists.
Smart contractsEnables programmable applications through Stellar’s smart-contract platform.
AnchorsConnects on-chain assets with off-chain financial services.

These capabilities combine payment infrastructure with tools for issuing and exchanging financial assets. Availability still depends on the relevant issuer, service provider, market, and liquidity.

The minimum inclusion fee for a classic operation is 0.00001 XLM, but this is not a universal price for every transaction. Transactions can contain multiple operations, congestion can affect inclusion fees, and smart-contract transactions also incur resource fees.

Understanding XLM Supply

Stellar originally created 100 billion lumens and initially operated an inflation mechanism. Community voting ended that mechanism in October 2019, followed by a substantial supply reduction in November. Stellar’s official explanation states that approximately 50 billion lumens remain and no additional lumens will be created.

XLM Price Chart

The XLM price chart shows Stellar’s historical USD performance from 2014 to June 2026, including its major rallies and corrections.

Stellar (XLM) Price History Highlights

Stellar’s price history spans several market cycles, from trading below one cent to approaching $1. Here is how XLM performed each year, from its launch in 2014 to October 2026.

  • 2014: Stellar launched with Jed McCaleb and Joyce Kim as co-founders. Early recorded trading prices were around $0.0028, and XLM finished the year near $0.0055.
  • 2015: XLM declined during its first full calendar year of trading. Its price fell as low as approximately $0.0013 and closed December near $0.0018.
  • 2016: Prices remained below one cent. XLM traded between roughly $0.0014 and $0.0034, ending the year around $0.0025.
  • 2017: Stellar experienced its first major breakout. XLM climbed from approximately $0.0025 at the beginning of the year to $0.3608 at year-end, with an annual high near $0.3904.
  • 2018: XLM reached its CoinMarketCap-recorded all-time high of $0.9381 on January 4. The rally reversed sharply, and the token ended the year near $0.11.
  • 2019: The decline continued, with XLM finishing the year around $0.045. Stellar also changed its token economics: community voting ended inflation in October, followed by a supply reduction in November that left approximately 50 billion lumens in existence.
  • 2020: XLM recovered from its lows. Kraken’s historical data shows a trading range of approximately 0.026–0.23, with the token ending the year near $0.13. Despite that recovery, it remained well below its 2018 peak.
  • 2021: Another strong rally lifted XLM toward $0.8, although it failed to surpass its previous record. Prices later retreated, leaving a year-end level near $0.27. During the year, Franklin Templeton launched its blockchain-recorded money market fund on Stellar, establishing an important tokenization use case.
  • 2022: XLM suffered another substantial decline. After trading near $0.3 at its annual high, it finished the year around $0.071, erasing much of the previous cycle’s recovery.
  • 2023: Stellar regained some ground, ending the year near $0.13. The recovery roughly doubled its price from the late-2022 lows, but XLM still traded far below the highs reached in 2018 and 2021.
  • 2024: Soroban’s public smart-contract launch on March 19 expanded Stellar’s capabilities. Later, a November rally pushed XLM toward $0.63. The token closed the year around $0.33, retaining substantial gains despite pulling back from its peak.
  • 2025: XLM reached approximately $0.52, but the gains did not hold, and it ended the year near $0.2. On September 23, Grayscale filed an S-1 proposing an ETF conversion for its Stellar Lumens Trust. That filing documented a proposal, rather than an ETF approval.
  • 2026: XLM entered the year around $0.2 and subsequently traded as low as roughly $0.14. Meanwhile, MoneyGram and Stellar announced a multiyear partnership extension on April 22, supporting further expansion of stablecoin services. September brought another recovery, with XLM rising from $0.176 on September 15 to $0.2264 on September 30. The price at the moment of writing this article stood near $0.2213.

Short-Term Stellar Price Targets

CoinCodex puts its five-day XLM price forecast at $0.2291 for October 6, 2026, while CoinLore provides daily and weekly estimates. Kraken’s prediction tool offers another comparison, although its results depend on an assumed growth rate rather than an independent market forecast. Together, these sources show possible short-term outcomes, not guaranteed prices.

XLM Price Prediction Today and Tomorrow

CoinLore’s October 1 outlook gives an estimated 24-hour range of $0.1952–$0.248, with an XLM price prediction for tomorrow, October 2, of $0.2244. CoinCodex places its nearest classic-pivot support at $0.2203 and resistance at $0.2315, providing closer levels to watch around the current price. These estimates can change quickly, and a break beyond either technical level could shift the immediate outlook.

XLM Price Prediction for This Week and Next Week

CoinLore’s targets for October 2–4 span $0.2244–$0.2316, suggesting modest upside through the remainder of this week. For next week, October 5–11, its daily projections range from $0.2337 to $0.2422, although these are forecast points rather than intraday trading boundaries. Bitcoin’s direction remains an important market influence: a broader sell-off could undermine this recovery scenario, while stronger BTC sentiment could help support demand for XLM.

Stellar Price Prediction for the Next 30 Days

CoinCodex forecasts $0.2613 by October 31, approximately 18% above the current price. Kraken’s tool displays a more modest month-end estimate of $0.23, based on its default 5% annual growth assumption. A one-month rebound alone would not confirm a reversal of the wider trend; sustained buying and a lasting move above resistance would provide stronger evidence of recovery.

Long-Term Stellar Prediction (2026–2050)

Gate, Changelly, and Telegaon publish different Stellar price predictions. The table combines their annual projections, with percentage changes measured against the current price of $0.221307.

YearMinimum PriceMaximum PriceAverage Price*Price Change
2026$0.14$0.38$0.2276+3%
2027$0.143$0.55$0.2666+20%
2030$0.22$1.20$0.5185+134%
2035$0.35$2.5$0.9755+341%
2040$0.5$4$1.395+530%
2050$1.56$1.78$1.67+655%

Minimum and maximum figures are the lowest and highest published scenarios among the included sources. Average Price averages their central estimates. The 2026–2030 rows use all three providers; 2035–2040 use Changelly and Telegaon; 2050 uses Changelly alone. These are forecast summaries, not statistical confidence intervals.

Stellar Price Prediction 2026

Gate forecasts a price range of 0.1464 to 0.3217 USD, with an average of 0.2219 USD, almost unchanged from the reference price. Changelly’s annual summary gives a range of 0.172 to 0.27 USD, averaging 0.221 USD, also approximately unchanged.

Telegaon offers a wider range of 0.14 to 0.38 USD. Its base-case estimate of 0.24 USD represents an increase of approximately 8%.

The central estimates suggest limited upside, while the wider scenarios allow for substantial movement in either direction. Through the remaining months of 2026, trading liquidity and broader crypto sentiment could outweigh gradual improvements in network adoption.

Stellar Price Prediction 2027

Gate projects a minimum price of 0.231 USD and a maximum of 0.3044 USD. Its average estimate of 0.2718 USD implies an increase of approximately 23%. Changelly is more cautious, forecasting a range of 0.143 to 0.272 USD and an average of 0.208 USD, equivalent to a decline of approximately 6%.

Telegaon places its bearish and bullish scenarios at 0.16 USD and 0.55 USD, respectively. Its base-case estimate of 0.32 USD suggests an increase of approximately 45%.

These forecasts leave room for both recovery and further losses. Sustained payment activity, deeper liquidity, and useful applications would strengthen the outlook. However, growth in Stellar’s ecosystem would need to translate into demand for XLM to support a higher valuation.

Stellar Price Prediction 2030

Gate’s Stellar price prediction for 2030 ranges from 0.3144 to 0.4315 USD, averaging 0.3345 USD. That average represents an increase of approximately 51%. Changelly publishes a range of 0.43 to 0.693 USD, with an average of 0.571 USD, implying an increase of approximately 158%.

Telegaon’s scenarios extend from 0.22 to 1.2 USD. Its base-case estimate of 0.65 USD suggests an increase of approximately 194%.

The bullish outcome would require a stronger competitive position and sustained investor demand. Competition, additional circulating supply, or weak demand for the native token could limit gains even if Stellar processes more financial activity.

Stellar Price Prediction 2035

Changelly forecasts a price range of 0.819 to 0.912 USD, averaging 0.851 USD. This average implies an increase of approximately 285%. Telegaon gives a much broader range of 0.35 to 2.5 USD, with a base-case estimate of 1.1 USD, equivalent to an increase of approximately 397%.

The two central estimates sit on either side of 1 USD, but the spread between scenarios is considerable. Reaching and maintaining that level would require demand that lasts across several market cycles, supported by continued adoption and a clear role for XLM within Stellar’s ecosystem.

Stellar Price Prediction 2040

Changelly projects a range of 1 to 1.08 USD, with an average of 1.04 USD, implying an increase of approximately 370%. Telegaon’s scenarios range from 0.5 to 4 USD. Its base-case estimate of 1.75 USD represents an increase of approximately 691%.

The upper estimate assumes a much stronger position for Stellar and XLM. Over fourteen years, changes in technology, regulation, and payment infrastructure could reshape that opportunity. These targets are speculative scenarios rather than dependable measures of future value.

Stellar Price Prediction 2050

Changelly publishes a range of 1.56 to 1.78 USD for 2050, averaging 1.67 USD. That average represents an increase of approximately 655%.

MEXC’s long-term projection gives a price of 0.72 USD, equivalent to an increase of approximately 225%. Bitget’s corresponding estimate is 0.7516 USD, implying an increase of approximately 240%. Both use fixed-growth assumptions, so these figures are separate calculator scenarios and should not be interpreted as lower bounds for Changelly’s forecast.

A forecast extending to 2050 cannot reliably account for Stellar’s future market share or the role XLM will play. Continued relevance, useful applications, and durable token demand would all matter, while outcomes far below these projections remain possible.

XLM USDT Price Technical Analysis

Investing.com’s Stellar technical analysis shows a Neutral monthly signal. Monthly RSI stands at 50.555, while MACD is slightly positive at 0.002, suggesting balanced momentum with a modest bullish bias.

XLM USDT Price Technical Analysis

Investing, October 1, 2026

XLM trades above its five- and ten-month simple and exponential moving averages. However, the 20-month simple moving average at 0.24106 USD remains above the price, creating a potential barrier to further recovery.

The October monthly candle has only just opened. Its indicators will change throughout the month.

Stellar Market Sentiment

The broader sentiment backdrop is optimistic. On October 1, Alternative.me’s Fear & Greed Index stood at 74 out of 100, indicating Greed, compared with 71 a week earlier. This is a Bitcoin-focused indicator, so it provides market context rather than a direct measure of confidence in XLM.

Stellar’s derivatives market shows substantial participation. CoinGlass reported 295.90 million USD in open interest, with 24-hour futures turnover almost three times its tracked spot volume.

Stellar Key Price Levels

The monthly readings identify potential support around 0.21150–0.21391 USD and an initial resistance area around 0.23676–0.24106 USD. These zones combine Investing.com’s monthly pivots, moving averages, and September’s trading high.

A sustained move above 0.24106 USD would bring 0.25157 USD into focus. Clearing that level would strengthen the recovery case, with 0.27683 USD the next classic pivot reference.

On the downside, losing the 0.21150–0.21391 USD area would increase attention on 0.20356–0.20467 USD. These are potential reaction zones, not confirmed floors or guaranteed turning points.

Correlation: XLM vs BTC and ETH

Using Investing.com’s monthly closing prices for Stellar, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, the calculated Pearson correlations of monthly returns are:

ComparisonCorrelationInterpretation
XLM and BTC+0.32Weak positive relationship
XLM and ETH+0.20Weak positive relationship

The calculation covers 12 completed monthly returns from October 2025 through September 2026, using September 2025 as the starting closing price. It excludes the unfinished October 2026 candle and measures percentage returns rather than price levels.

XLM moved more closely with Bitcoin than Ethereum in this sample, but neither relationship was strong. May 2026 illustrates the divergence: XLM gained approximately 64%, while Bitcoin declined about 3% and Ethereum fell around 11%.

Broader crypto conditions still matter, but these results do not support treating XLM as a reliable proxy for either asset. The sample is small, and individual months can materially affect the coefficients. Correlation measures historical co-movement; it does not establish causation or predict the next price move.

What Does Stellar’s Price Depend On?

Several factors can change XLM’s outlook:

  • Demand for XLM itself: Network activity matters most to holders when it supports demand for the native asset.
  • Circulating supply: Tokens entering the market can create selling pressure even without new issuance.
  • Market liquidityL Thin order books can magnify price changes in both directions.
  • Competition: Other payment networks and financial platforms compete for users, developers, and issuers.
  • Execution: Announced integrations need to become useful, reliable services.
  • Risk appetite: Speculative capital can enter or leave cryptocurrency markets quickly.

These factors can reinforce or offset one another. Growing adoption may coexist with a falling token price if selling pressure or market weakness dominates.

Can Stellar Reach $1, $5, or $10?

A token-price target becomes more meaningful when translated into market capitalization.

The following calculations use 35.022 billion circulating XLM. The final column assumes approximately 50 billion XLM in circulation.

XLM PriceMarket Cap at Current Circulating SupplyValuation at Approximately 50 Billion XLM
$1$35.02 billion$50 billion
$5$175.11 billion$250 billion
$10$350.22 billion$500 billion
$20$700.44 billion$1 trillion
$100$3.5 trillion$5 trillion
$1,000$35.02 trillion$50 trillion
$10,000$350.22 trillion$500 trillion

A $1 price would require a substantial increase in valuation. It is a scenario that investors can examine, but the fact that XLM previously approached that price does not guarantee a return.

At $5 or $10, the demands become much greater. Those valuations would require a much stronger combination of adoption, token demand, liquidity, and investor confidence.

Targets of $100 or more require extraordinary assumptions. Arithmetic alone cannot prove that a future price is impossible, but the resulting valuations show why these targets are unsuitable as ordinary investment expectations.

Stellar (XLM) Price Prediction: Questions and Answers

Is Stellar a Good Investment?

Stellar is a high-risk investment, and XLM can lose value despite growth in network activity. A stronger investment case would require sustained adoption, deeper liquidity, and demand for XLM itself. Returns are uncertain, and increased use of Stellar does not automatically mean a higher token price.

Will XLM Reach $1?

XLM reaching $1 by 2030 is a bullish scenario, not a base-case expectation. Telegaon’s upper 2030 target of $1.2 allows for that outcome, while Gate and Changelly publish lower ranges. Reaching this level would require stronger token demand, sustained adoption, and supportive crypto market conditions.

Will XLM Reach $10?

A price of $10 is a stretch target, not a base case. At approximately 50 billion XLM in total supply, it would imply a fully diluted valuation near $500 billion. Supporting that valuation would require an exceptional expansion in demand for XLM, well beyond the article’s central forecasts.

Can Stellar Reach $20?

Stellar reaching $20 looks unlikely under the scenarios discussed here. With approximately 50 billion tokens in total supply, that price would imply a fully diluted valuation near $1 trillion. It would require extraordinary, sustained demand and should not be treated as a realistic planning target.

Will XLM Reach $100?

A price of $100 is not realistic. Applied to roughly 50 billion tokens, it implies a fully diluted valuation near $5 trillion. Current projections provide no credible basis for that outcome, and payment-network adoption alone would not justify such a valuation.

Can XLM Go to $1,000?

No, $1,000 is not a realistic XLM target under the current supply structure. With roughly 50 billion tokens in existence, it would imply a fully diluted valuation near $50 trillion. None of the forecasts discussed supports that scale, so it should not be used as an investment expectation.

Can Stellar Lumens Reach $10,000?

No, $10,000 is not a credible Stellar price target under its current token economics. At approximately 50 billion XLM in total supply, it would imply a fully diluted valuation near $500 trillion. The forecasts reviewed offer no support for this outcome, even in their most optimistic scenarios.

Can Stellar Lumens Make You a Millionaire?

There is no reliable basis for expecting XLM to make someone a millionaire. Results depend on the amount invested, purchase price, selling price, and costs, while losses can be substantial. Stellar’s large token supply also limits the plausibility of extreme price targets. This is not financial advice.

What Is the XLM Price Prediction for 2030?

For 2030, Gate forecasts $0.3144–$0.4315, averaging $0.3345. Changelly projects $0.430–$0.693, with an average of $0.571. Telegaon gives a broader $0.22–$1.2 range and a $0.65 base case.

What Will XLM Be Worth in 2040?

For 2040, Changelly forecasts $1–$1.08, averaging $1.04. Telegaon offers a wider $0.5–$4 range, with a base case of $1.75. The gap reflects substantial uncertainty about Stellar’s future adoption and demand for XLM. Neither forecast provides a dependable estimate of its eventual value.

What Is the XLM Price Prediction for 2050?

For 2050, Changelly projects $1.56–$1.78, with an average of $1.67. MEXC’s fixed-growth projection gives $0.720097, while Bitget’s gives $0.7516.

How High Can XLM Realistically Go?

An upper target around $1.2 by 2030 offers a more grounded bullish reference than double-digit prices, matching Telegaon’s optimistic scenario. It is not a firm ceiling or an expected outcome; Gate and Changelly project lower ranges. Sustaining that level would require lasting demand for XLM itself.
