Monero Price Prediction October 2026: Can XRM Hit $1K in 2026?

Monero spiked, crashed, spent most of the year rebuilding, and is now testing the $590.87 level on its way back up.
This Monero Price Prediction October 2026 looks at whether XMR can clear that level and keep climbing toward its January highs.
XMR Price Prediction Chart: Technical Analysis
This chart covers more than a year. XMR climbed steadily through late 2025 before spiking sharply to a high near $780 in January 2026, a blow-off top that reversed just as fast.
Price crashed to around $300 within weeks and spent February through July rebuilding slowly in that same low range.
Since August, XMR has climbed again, this time more steadily, and the Monero price today is trading at $545.22, up 1% today.
Price has recently been pushed as high as $590.87 before pulling back to the same level marked on the chart, making it the key hurdle right now.
Both EMAs sit just below price, close together after months of climbing in parallel.
The 20 EMA is at $540.76 and the 50 EMA at $499.85. Price sitting right above both, after being below them for most of the year, is a sign the recovery has real momentum behind it, not just a short bounce.

The Monero Forecast
Bull case: If the price holds the EMA zone and turns back up, XMR can make another run at $590.87.
A confirmed close above that level would be the first real sign this recovery is ready to challenge $712.04, well below the January spike high but a meaningful step back up.
Bear case: A close below the 20 EMA at $540.76 would risk a slide back toward the 50 EMA at $499.85.
Given how sharp the January crash was, a failed recovery attempt here is a real possibility, not just a routine dip.
Monero Price Prediction October 2026: Can Monero Reach $1,000?
$1,000.00 is the highest level marked on the chart, above even January's blow-off top near $780.
Getting there would require XMR to first clear $590.87, then $712.04, each a meaningful hurdle after this year's crash. That's a long path for a token that only recently climbed back above its own moving averages.
Monero Price Prediction: Expert View
According to CoinGabbar analysts, a steady climb back above both EMAs, after a sharp spike-and-crash earlier in the year, is a healthier setup than another fast rally would be.
The $590.87 level is the real test here, since XMR has already touched it once and pulled back. Clearing it on a confirmed close, rather than another brief touch, is what would support the case that this recovery has further to run.
