AlphaPepe Plans Claude Integration and Automated Trading for AlphaSwap

AlphaPepe announced plans on September 11, 2026, to add conversational trading to AlphaSwap, starting with Claude integration and support for Ethereum and BNB Chain. The proposed Alpha Smart Trading system would let users request token information and prepare swaps through an AI assistant, with individual wallet approvals required in the first stage.
In Dev Release #011, the team also outlined a later Autotrade feature using trader-defined limits and an ALPE-powered trading credit system. The update expands AlphaSwap’s planned AI functions from market analysis into trade preparation and execution, though it does not announce a public launch date for the new features.
How AlphaSwap’s Conversational Trading Would Work
AlphaPepe said the integration is being built around Model Context Protocol (MCP), which allows compatible AI assistants to call external tools. Users would be able to request trending tokens, compare liquidity, or prepare a swap without moving between separate research and trading interfaces.
The assistant would interpret the request, while AlphaSwap would handle routing, transaction validation, and execution. The proposed checks include wallet balances, token allowances, liquidity, expected output, and slippage settings before a transaction is prepared.
The team said the conversational interface would sit above AlphaRouter, its routing system. In July’s development update, AlphaPepe described AlphaRouter as undergoing optimization and benchmarking, with plans to compare execution paths based on gas costs, fees, and price impact.
The new integration follows AlphaSwap’s June early-access announcement, when the team said swaps were available through Uniswap and PancakeSwap router connections. That release also introduced access to AI Trending Tokens and Daily Briefing analysis for eligible ALPE holders.
Autotrade Permissions and ALPE Credits Remain in Development
For the later Autotrade phase, AlphaPepe said users would configure trading rules through Claude. Examples include a $250 maximum per trade, a $1,000 daily exposure limit, approved token lists and a 1% slippage ceiling.
The proposed controls also include permission expiry, chain restrictions and a manual stop function. AlphaPepe said the design would use scoped trading permissions without giving the AI a private key. Transaction tracking and activity logs are also planned.
AlphaPepe’s September 11 update does not explain how the trading limits would be enforced or include an audit of the proposed automation system.
Access to advanced features would use ALPE-powered trading credits, with initial participation expected to prioritize Alpha rank, token balances, and early ecosystem involvement. Credit pricing and consumption rules were not disclosed. The team said further access details would follow the next week.
AlphaPepe is separately targeting Q1 2027 for its presale close and token launch. Release #011 does not tie Smart Trading or Autotrade availability to that window.
