[SERIOUS] How to avoid losing crypto to malicious dapps using the Kleros security metadata registries. 😊 (Kleros Scout & Kleros Curate)

I want to share a tool that could have helped prevent this attack.</p> <p>You may have heard of Kleros, the dispute resolution protocol that uses crowdsourced arbitrators to resolve disputes. But did you know that Kleros also has a project called Kleros Curate, which is a community-curated source of security metadata for dapp interactions?</p> <p>Kleros Curate has several registries which provide insights on the trustworthiness and safety of tokens, addresses, and contracts in the crypto space. The easiest way to access this data is to use <a href="https://snaps.metamask.io/snap/npm/kleros/scout-snap/">Kleros Scout</a>, a MetaMask <a href="https://metamask.io/snaps/">snap</a> that gives you contract insights in your browser. Kleros Scout shows you the metadata from the Curate registries when you interact with a dapp, to help you make informed decisions and avoid risks. For example, here is a contract on Etherscan that uses Kleros Curate for the nametag: <a href="https://etherscan.io/address/0x8e5660b4Ab70168b5a6fEeA0e0315cb49c8Cd539">https://etherscan.io/address/0x8e5660b4Ab70168b5a6fEeA0e0315cb49c8Cd539</a></p> <p>I've been using the Kleros Scout snap since MetaMask snaps were released and I've been very happy with it; my only problem with it is that not every good contract has been added yet. However, Kleros Curate is permissionless; anyone can submit tokens and contracts to the Curate registries and you will be rewarded in PNK for successful submissions until the end of the year. To submit a contract, you need to have xdai on Gnosis Chain to pay a deposit, which you will get back after your submission is approved in about a week. During this time, other users can challenge your submission if it breaks any rules. If challenged, your submission will be evaluated by a panel of crowdsourced arbitrators who will either approve or reject it.
