Nocturnal

Nocturnal carries a feeling I have known since my first nights in Tokyo: wandering without a destination, disappearing into the rain, becoming almost a ghost among strangers. Inspired by Blade Runner and Fallen Angels, it returns to a future we once imagined, where electric neon cuts through darkness and subcultures give the streets their identity. A nostalgia for somewhere I recognize but have never quite been. At its heart is one of my Venuses, the muses who have changed how I see Tokyo. Her beauty and strength hold a mystery, a story I can feel but never fully know. This is also a tribute to CryptoPunks and those who go against the rules to build what they believe in. Like the people who give the night its character, they turn defiance into possibility, making room for a world of their own. Through Nocturnal, I wanted to hold that feeling a little longer: losing myself in the city, and finding a part of myself there.
