AIN Rallies 260% in a Week, But Can the Gains Last?

Infinity Ground (AIN) has surged more than 260% in seven days, climbing from around $0.04 to $0.14–$0.16 on October 27. Its market value has risen from $12.9 million on October 21 to $50 million on October 28, although the token’s price has fallen about 4% in the past 24 hours.

As reported in CoinTab’s earlier Coin To Watch article, the rally comes as the project continues buying back its own tokens. These purchases could help push the price higher. But there’s another risk: the top 10 holders control more than 70% of AIN’s supply, even though about 19,090 holders own the token.
What is driving the rally, and can the price keep rising?
The Project Behind AIN
Infinity Ground is building an AI-powered platform that helps people create applications by describing what they want in plain English, without having to write all the code themselves. Its AI tools are designed to generate the code, smart contracts, and visual layouts needed to build these applications.
AIN is the project’s token. It is intended to be used for payments, staking (locking up tokens to participate in a project’s system), and accessing paid features. AIN may also give holders a say in certain project decisions. Infinity Ground operates primarily on BNB Chain, a blockchain network that supports crypto tokens and applications.
What’s Driving AIN’s Rally?
1. The Ongoing Token Buyback Programme
One possible reason for AIN’s rally is Infinity Ground’s buyback programme, which followed a sharp crash in the token’s price on September 16, 2026, as CoinTab previously reported.
The team blamed the crash on a third-party error. It later announced that it had secured new funding to buy back AIN tokens, grow its ecosystem, and continue developing its technology.
On October 5, the team published a recovery plan and shared a wallet address where the buyback activity could be tracked. On October 13, it reported that the wallet had purchased about $3 million worth of AIN and said the purchases were continuing.
Buying back tokens means the project is using funds to purchase its own tokens from the market. This can help push the price higher by adding more buyers. However, the effect depends on how much the project buys and how many other holders are selling. If selling pressure outweighs the buying, the price can still fall.
2. Interest in AI-Related Crypto Projects
AIN’s connection to artificial intelligence may also be attracting buyers. AI is a popular topic in crypto, and tokens linked to AI projects can attract people hoping to make a profit from rising prices.
Still, it’s difficult to know how much of AIN’s rally is driven by interest in its AI technology, the buyback programme or traders hoping to make quick profits.
For the price gains to last, Infinity Ground needs to show that its platform is useful and that people are actually using it. If the project struggles to attract users, interest in AI alone may not be enough to keep demand for AIN high.
3. Speculation and Increased Trading Activity
AIN’s sharp price increase may also be attracting traders hoping to profit from the rally.
When a token’s price rises quickly, more people may buy it in the hope that it will keep climbing. This can push the price even higher as the rally attracts more attention.
But the price can fall just as quickly when buyers lose interest or early investors start selling to take profits.
AIN’s rising trading volume shows that more tokens are changing hands. It does not necessarily mean buyers will keep coming or that the price will continue to rise.
Why AIN’s Biggest Holders Matter

AIN has approximately 19,090 holders, but its top 10 holders control more than 70% of the token supply. This means a small number of holders own a large share of AIN, which could affect its price if they decide to sell.
Having thousands of holders does not necessarily mean a token is widely distributed. A few holders can still own most of it.
Why does this matter?
- Price drops: Large sales could push AIN’s price down.
- Sharp price swings: A few big transactions could move the price significantly.
- Who owns the tokens? The largest wallets could belong to exchanges, the project team, or individual investors.
- How much is available? It matters whether the 70% refers to all AIN tokens or only those currently in circulation.
Tracking the largest wallets could help show whether their holdings are increasing or decreasing. However, moving tokens to an exchange does not automatically mean the owner is selling.
This concentration does not mean a sell-off is coming, but it is a risk worth considering alongside AIN’s rapid price increase.
What Investors Should Watch
Four factors could help determine whether AIN can maintain its recent gains.
- Buyback activity: Are purchases continuing, and can they be verified through wallet transactions? Continued buying could support demand, but it does not guarantee that the price will rise.
- Largest holders: Are the biggest wallets increasing or reducing their holdings? Large sales could put pressure on the price, especially if there are not enough buyers.
- Product progress: Is Infinity Ground attracting real users to its AI development platform? Evidence that people are using the product would help show whether the project offers value beyond its token’s price gains.
- Trading activity: Can AIN maintain its gains if buying slows or more holders start selling? Trading volume and available market liquidity can help show how easily the market can absorb large sales.
Can AIN Sustain Its Rally?
AIN’s rally may be getting a boost from the buyback programme, interest in AI and increased trading activity. But none of these guarantees that the price will keep rising.
Another concern is that a small number of holders own a large share of AIN. If some decide to sell, the price could come under pressure. Infinity Ground also needs to show that people find its AI platform useful enough to keep using it.
For investors, the lesson is simple: a rising token price doesn’t automatically mean a strong project. AIN’s gains will depend on whether buying continues, what its biggest holders do, and whether Infinity Ground can attract real users.
