Bitcoin BTC remained above the $64,000 mark on Friday even as most leading cryptocurrencies traded lower, extending a cautious mood across the digital asset market. While large-cap tokens struggled to attract sustained buying interest, several smaller cryptocurrencies posted strong double-digit gains, reflecting selective risk appetite among traders.
According to Coingecko, Bitcoin BTC traded at $64,405.38, down 0.8% over the past 24 hours, while recording $17.91 billion in daily trading volume and maintaining a market capitalization of approximately $1.29 trillion. Despite the decline, the world’s largest cryptocurrency remained comfortably above the key $64,000 support level that traders have monitored throughout the week.
Ethereum ETH also moved lower, falling 0.5% to $1,905.08 while generating $6.72 billion in daily trading volume and retaining a market capitalization of nearly $230 billion. However, the cryptocurrency continued to trade within a relatively narrow range as investors waited for stronger directional signals.
BNB BNB lost 1.6% to trade at $587.48, while XRP recorded the largest decline among the major cryptocurrencies, falling 2.1% to $1.03 after generating $1.45 billion in 24-hour trading volume. Meanwhile, Solana SOL slipped 1.4% to $72.92 as sellers maintained pressure across the broader altcoin market.
TRON TRX remained largely unchanged at $0.3269 during the same period, while Hyperliquid HYPE eased 0.6% to $55.83. Dogecoin DOGE also declined 0.8% to $0.06934, reflecting the broader weakness across major cryptocurrencies.

Biconomy BICO leads gains as traders rotate into smaller tokens
Despite weakness among the largest cryptocurrencies, several lower-cap digital assets delivered notable gains during Friday’s session. Biconomy BICO emerged as the strongest performer, surging 59.2% to $0.04533 while recording more than $238.5 million in trading volume.
Orochi Network ON followed with a 48.3% gain to $0.433. Additionally, Anvil ANVL climbed 37.4%, while ETHGas GWEI advanced 35.9% as buying activity strengthened across selected projects.
Moreover, DAI on PulseChain DAI rose 28.6%, Stargate Finance STG gained 28.4%, and Zylo Ecosystem ZYLO added 27.8%. SkyAI SKYAI increased 25.6% to $0.09777 with trading volume exceeding $40 million. Furthermore, Allora ALLO advanced 24.8% to round out the session’s leading gainers.
The mixed market performance suggested investors remained cautious toward established cryptocurrencies while directing capital into selected smaller assets that experienced stronger momentum.
Friday’s trading session reflected a divided cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin BTC remained above $64,000 despite modest losses, while XRP XRP posted the steepest decline among the largest cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, several lower-cap tokens, including Biconomy BICO and Orochi Network ON, delivered strong gains, demonstrating that speculative interest remained active despite broader market weakness.
